My boys

I’m Chava. I’m wife to Tal and mother to four awesome, wild, amazing boys. We’ve got our issues in  my house, from asthma to sensory issues to ADHD.  These issues along with healing them and connecting with others who are dealing with them  have  been a passion of mine for years. After healing one son’s ADHD with diet, another two son’s asthma by discovering an egg allergy and continuing to work on issues with anger and sensory stuff, I feel that parenting and life in general  is an adventure, a puzzle, a mystery and it’s awesome sharing what I’ve learned with others, as well as learning from all of you, too.

I’m also an ADHD coach and an aspiring holistic nutritionist. Here on Our Kids Can Thrive, I hope to combine my two loves and give all of you parents and caregivers out there hope, valuable tips and the latest information to help your special kids.  I love connecting to others, I love reading amazing books like Kenneth Bock’s Healing the 4A Disorders and Almost Autism by Maria Rickert Hong. In fact, if I had to choose what my favorite thing to do is next to spending time with my family, it would be reading up on health, nutrition and children’s disorders.

Remember, you can sign up to get my free eBook, 12 Foods That Will Change Your Child’s Behavior.  It was a pleasure to write and I’m excited to get this information out to as many people as possible.  I’m also excited to share bi-weekly news and tips with you that only email subscribers will get!  Just enter your name and email below.

Healing these behavioral and physical ailments is hard work.  It takes time and commitment, but our children don’t have all the time in the world to be just that – children.  I want to make sure that our kids have the best start they possibly can for a lifetime of health and happiness.  I’ll give you the whole, real story here, not fluff and not anything I wouldn’t try on my own kids.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.  I hope to see you around the blog sometime!
